A rolling stone collects no moss
To me this quote has two meanings. If you never slow down you will never be grounded. But on the other hand you don’t want to be stagnate and never move forward. You need to find a balance that works for you.
A stitch in time saves nine.
I just found this lovely little saying. Basically, it’s saying it’s better to stitch up a small hole now, then wait until it’s a bigger hole. It’s better to take care of yourself in little ways now, then when you are forced to.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
Don’t be the weakest link. You might think that you need to take care of everyone first. But if you become the weakest link, then what you’re working for is not as strong as it could be. Which leads into the next saying.
