Cleaning up your messy closet will not only get your room clean. But it will also affect your mind in a positive way. It brings an unusual sense of renewal. And freshness that may give you the boost need.
Unplug From The Rest Of The World
This is very difficult to do especially with social media being a click away. Still, turn your TV off, take a break from social media for 15 minutes and wallowing in self-love. Find ways to pamper yourself and be grateful for the time to yourself.
Read a Book
Reading a book is the fastest to trigger imaginations and create alternate realities. Picking up a good book and reading it can channel your mind away from depressing thoughts. And set you on an exciting adventure.
Shut Down Comparisons
We are all guilty of doing this. Scrolling through social media to view the exciting lives of other people. Perhaps in a bid to feel bad about ourselves. But we’re forgetting that everyone has bad days. Next time you feel compelled to do this, remember that you are perfect just the way you are. And there is so much to be grateful for.
Find a Hobby
Find a hobby you can always fall back on whenever you need a sense of accomplishment. This is the ultimate self-esteem booster. If you love cooking, then cook, if playing call of duty works for you, then take up the next mission and finish it.

Dance
Yes! move around your bedroom, shake yourself and release some endorphins. You will find out that your mood lifts naturally. You will feel better about yourself when you let your body move the way it wants to.
Listen to a podcast
One of my core values is self-improvement. So, anytime I take to learn something new I always feel rejuvenated. And the easiest way for me to learn something new is to turn on a podcast, while I am doing mundane tasks like laundry.
Take a Nap
Sometimes all you may need is to take out time to rest and feel refreshed. It is difficult to see things clearly when you’re feeling stressed and tired.
